Mia will demonstrate one of her most requested signature bridal looks, going into great detail on the following:-
Choosing the right products for skin prep on different skin types which will affect your base & longevity of the makeup.
Creating the perfect base on different skin types - knowing which foundation is best suited to which skin type and creating a base that will last all day.
Eye shadow blending techniques, brush placement, product placement, favourite high performance products & brushes that last from day into night.
Eye-lining - dos and don'ts and the importance of eye shapes when it comes to lining. Cult products that perform easily making your lining easier & most importantly, waterproof.
Brow design - enhancing and recreating (where necessary) a flattering brow shape without going out of your client's comfort zone. Fluffy brow setting techniques to ensure brows stay in place all day whilst remaining natural looking.
Contouring & highlighting and choice of products depending on the skin type and texture - for eg. powers versus creams. Shaping the face with techniques that are suitable for event makeup rather than photoshoot makeup. Creating natural light and shade on a face to enhance but not be over done.
Lip enhancing. Lips can often be skipped over quickly by artists, especially in big bridal parties where it is the last thing to usually be applied and time is an issue. A lip can be shaped and enhanced dramatically with the use of over lining and highlighting/ low lighting with multiple shades and textures of products.
Décolletage work. Mia believes the décolletage is an area not to be missed but also not overdone. She will demonstrate her personal techniques and choice of products when it comes to completing the look with body work.
Designing the look for your bride that is tailored to her & also how to approach situations where the requested look may not be suitable.
Recognising and identifying significant facial features & the looks that are most flattering on those features and also looks that will not be flattering.
Also included in this class is an in-depth group seminar on the back end of your bridal business including correspondence with potential brides, running time of the day, rates, handling of payments, trials, travel fees etc. - everything you need to consider when booking in a wedding that no one tells you when starting your bridal business.
